I have drawn many caricatures for Pat and her husband for over five years. When I work with Pat, I feel I am working with a co-designer, as she is very good at coming up with creative ideas and making them work.

For this Christmas project, Pat had the brilliant idea to re-create one of Norman Rockwell’s most notable illustrations – an astonished child witnessing Mom getting a kiss from Santa Claus (Dad dressed up, of course).

I stayed true to the original Rockwell piece while incorporating Pat’s ideas for alterations, making it a more personal work of art.

I think the result speaks for itself!
